This section provides a broad description of the history of canals and how the Saltisford Arm in particular was involved. It also gives a report on the reconstruction and renovation work done at the Saltisford Arm which incorporates some interesting ways that the site has more recently been used to generate interest in the history and heritage surrounding us.
