Volunteers

All the Directors and Trustees of Saltisford Canal Trust are unpaid volunteers who give up considerable amounts of their time, to run committees and provide managerial and technical support.

Trust Members & moorers are encouraged to volunteer to assist the Trust to further its aims.
We also have a Facebook group and we encourage people to upload their photographs to this group.

The site relies on volunteers from companies looking for team building events and also individuals who wish to be involved with our projects.

Some individuals like to come in weekly and quickly become a valuable part of our team.

We encourage volunteers to acquire new skills including:
Gardening, hedge laying, planting of trees and shrubs, and general landscaping and site maintenance repairs. Also, on occasions we require bank and towpath repairs as maintenance for the site.

If you are interested in being involved with our Trust, please email/ring us for a chat to see how we can all work together.
