Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England. The town lies upon the River Avon, 11 miles south of Coventry and just west of Leamington Spa and Whitnash with which it is conjoined. Kenilworth and Stratford-upon-Avon are only seven and nine miles away respectively. Both are accessible by public transport with bus services regularly from the bus station in Warwick Town Centre, just a 10-minute walk from the Saltisford Arm.
In Warwick we have not only the Castle, one of the finest in England, but also the medieval Lord Leycester Hospital which houses the Queens Own Hussars Museum. The 11th century Collegiate Church of St. Mary, and St John’s House Museum which also houses the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum (Royal Warwickshire).
